A foreigner who seeks employment in Sri Lanka should request the prospective employer in Sri Lanka to obtain the approval of the Controller of Immigration & Emigration in Colombo for the visa. Entry visas (1 month) for this category will be issued by this Embassy only after obtaining clearance from the Controller of Immigration & Emigration.
